Activities & events

Each Christmas season, gifts of personal items are provided to the residents of Good Friends, a sober living home in Bucks County, PA.  Throughout the year, donations of gently used men’s clothing, from family and friends, are also provided to Good Friends.  Wings for Hope Inc. also supports Good Friend’s annual “Breakfast with Santa”and “Bingo” events. 

An academic scholarship program was created for graduating students from Community College of Philadelphia’s Behavioral Health & Human Services program providing tuition assistance  towards their tuition at a four-year college.  The five recipients to-date have attended West Chester University, LaSalle University, Rutgers University and Alvernia University.

Financial assistance for transportation purposes has been provided to assist a person in recovery to transition from her current living environment to an out-of-state recovery program
